We Need Carbs!

One of the biggest misconceptions my patients and clients have is carbs are “bad”. Even patients with diabetes think so! 🙀 Our body needs a minimum daily intake of 130 grams of carbohydrates. That amount is what’s needed to produce enough glucose for our brain to function!



Now of course there are better and healthier food choices when it comes to carbs. Aim for more fruits 🍎and veggies 🥦, whole grains, beans legumes and lentils, and nuts and seeds.
